- Description: Lights, chaos, action! More than just virtuosity of musicianship, dazzling and oft bewildering visual effects, sensational representatives of mad science, The Consortium of Genius are an industrial-strength powerhouse featuring three cerebral miscreants who jolt their audience into staggering submission. The resulting evil brainchild is part musical showcase, part sketch comedy, and part magician riffing, featuring the sadistic vocals of Dr.Milo T. Pinkerton III, the heavily-marinated guitar of Dr. A. Rachnid, the macabre vocals of Nurse Ilsa Von Fooktoffen, and funky-fresh bass playing of Dr. Zaemon Abdul-Siddhartha-Mohammad-Achmell-Tutmos-Abram-Ali-Hermes -Odin-Mahatma-Dahali-Martin-Luther-Hussein-Kali-Rocka-Babu-Haghighi III (more commonly referred to as "Dr. Z"), along with their trusty wisecracking percussive powerhouse Drumbot. C.O.G. have performed all over the Southeast region for the last ten years, packing venues from modest to extreme. Opening for everyone from 'Mojo Nixon' to 'Crowbar', with four songs to date aired by 'Dr. Demento' on his national radio show, they present a versatile repertoire of nearly 50 songs, completely warping the styles of a colorful, nostalgic past including 'hair metal', 'hip-hop', 'DYOA' (dance your ass off) pop, and a touch of 'country'. Whatever images may appear on the projection screen behind them, C.O.G. only knows, and the occasional lucky audience member may be engaged at any time for an unforgettable experience onstage with the vibrant and vanguard Consortium of Genius!
